This Super Red Monkey Flowerhorn is in juvenile size, currently going through an active color-shedding phase where old scales are being replaced and the red pigmentation is developing rapidly. The fish already shows strong red coverage on the face and chest, with the body color continuing to intensify as the shedding progresses.

The fins and tail are large, full, and tight, giving the fish excellent overall form. This stage is known for fast transformation in body color, pattern clarity, and head structure.

Head Growth Potential

The kok is expected to develop significantly once the shedding process completes.

To maximize head growth, the fish should be paired with a mirror (flaring/mirror training) regularly to stimulate aggression and kok expansion — a technique commonly used for SRM and Kamfa lines.
